Tips: Moving with Full Trailers
A transportation trailer (27 to 53 feet in length) will be parked at your location. The trailer deck is approximately 4 feet off the ground and a ramp is not usually required.
Place your goods in a secure manner to reduce movement and brace as necessary.
Use pads, blankets and other packaging materials to protect your goods from road vibration damage.

Follow these simple tips for a successful move:
- Ensure adequate space will be available to park the trailer at origin and destination. A parking permit may be required if parked on public property.
- Transportation Trailers are delivered to you empty. We suggest laying pieces of cardboard or plastic on the trailer floor prior to loading. You may utilize the full height up to the load lines indicated on the walls. Use a footstool or small ladder for stacking items nearer the ceiling.
- All items should be adequately protected in boxes and/or other packing materials to avoid damage from movement.
- Place heavier items on the bottom with lighter items stacked upwards.
- Place the items in a secured manner to reduce the potential of movement.
- Brace items with lumber if necessary to the trailer floor but not the walls or ceiling.
